A check valve

The operation of this valve is partially similar to that of the rotary valve. As on the previous one, the suction valve is controlled by two solenoid valves 10 and 13.

When the normally open (without control voltage) valve 10 is opened, the suction valve disc 2 is moved to the left (as shown) and the suction throat of the screw block 18 is closed.

At the same time, some air enters the screw unit through bypass line 5 with check valve 4 and reducer 3 and is compressed to maintain the pressure in the oil reservoir necessary for normal circulation of oil in the compressor circuit (usually about 1.5 bar). the compressor works in no-load running mode without producing any compressed air.).

When closing the solenoid valve 10 and switching solenoid valve 13, the pressure from the oil reservoir is fed into the load chamber 16 of the suction valve drive.
