With electric trimmers things are much simpler. After making sure that the gearbox has the required amount of lithol, you can begin to work. No additional measures required. Make sure the carrying vehicle is out of the way so as not to get in the way of the mowing operation.
When the appliance itself is ready for operation, you should make sure that there is nothing around that could interfere with the operation. If possible, the intended mowing area should be clear of snags, glass, rocks and other hard objects that can damage the trimmer blade or line.
It is best if other people do not approach the trimmer while it is working. It is usually recommended to keep a distance of at least 10-15 meters to prevent small debris (mulch) from getting in the eyes and on the face.
Depending on the work to be done, you need to choose the attachment on the grass trimmer: a screw blade for weeds and hay, a line for the lawn trimmer or a circular saw for bushes. - On the crank, turn on the ignition.
- Set the choke shutter in the “Closed” position.
- The carburetor has a fuel pump button at the bottom of the carburetor. Push it in several times.

If the quality of the fuel mixture is not in doubt, but the lawnmower stops when starting, the cause may be a primed spark plug. A usual spark plug wrench (every motorist is sure to have one) and a spare spark plug will do for repair.
- Unscrew the spark plug and wipe it clean;
- Dry it thoroughly (do not burn it);
- Excess fuel in the chamber drain through the spark plug hole and dry it;
- Clean the old spark plug from carbon deposits with a file or a lady’s file;
- Set the gap with a distance of 1 mm (you can check with any coin);
- Let’s put everything back and try to start the grass trimmer.
Dry the channel for at least 30-40 minutes. Otherwise there is a risk to re-fill and a new spark plug.
If the spark plug working, the socket where it is located completely dry, and the lawnmower does not want to start, lubricate the threaded connection with gasoline. It should be slightly dampened. No matter how great the spark may be, there is simply nothing to ignite in a dry chamber.
If the grass trimmer engine still does not start, you should rule out such a cause as a lack of spark due to poor contact between the spark plugs and the high-voltage wire. If the connection is good, but there is still no spark, most likely you have a “failed” ignition unit. Here you can’t do without a wizard, because you can’t do without a wizard. к.
