This is especially important if the regulator is built into the cord, close to the body of the angle grinder itself.
If before the machine did not have a regulator, you need to keep in mind that this regulator will tend to maintain close to idle speed under load, so there is no need to especially speed up the angle grinder under a heavy load. When the resistance of the material to be worked slows down the disk, the voltage at the current sensor increases by increasing the current and the voltage at the motor slightly decreases. The microcircuit reacts to this by changing the angle (triac opening torque) in the direction of increasing the power.
If the current is too high, the protection trips and the angle changes to lower power. So you may have to adjust R9 by experimentation, changing the calculated resistance within small limits.
