I got another rescued doll. For LL. at once was/is, details. below.
I’ve been eyeing this doll for a long time. Something about her “hooked”.
I’ve been looking at this for years. this beauty, the Moscow factory souvenir and gift toys, not rare, often on sale found, and even in excellent condition.
But. I’m not interested. in excellent, I am not a collector. Amateur with lifeguard tendencies.
Originally supposed to keep her native hair, and sew an outfit in the same style.
The doll arrived. Unfortunate blur, wig and outfit just fall apart in my hands.
After washing and disinfecting looked at all this “beauty”. And discarded wig, warm frame skirt and outfit.
Repainted the face. Was going to sew a new body (half) and a new skirt.
But suddenly I, a lover of doll warmers, wanted to sew THIS doll full body, with legs! Surprised by this desire.
Turned stately young lady. made her taller than she was once.
Soft but stable, with bendable legs. Figurine)
And then I remembered that I wanted to make a doll in an outfit with antique ornaments.
Wig made of natural linen. Tinted it a little to match the complexion.
Clothing. Batiste shirt with lace on sleeves. Skirt with embroidered ornament.

Cross stitch on plain paper. Drawing. based on antique embroideries.Of course, had to adapt to the size of the doll.

The Makita-2012 Portable Electric Rotary Taper Wall Planer. Purpose, scope of application
The Makita-2012 woodworking planer is designed for planing workpieces made of wood to pre-set dimensions. The Makita 2012 is intended for individual use and is not designed for continuous production.
The Makita 2012 is a lightweight and compact planer designed for individual use in joinery workshops and “away from home” on construction sites. Thanks to the commutator motor it weighs only 27 kg, but has a power of 1.65 kW. This type of motor is temperature-intensive, so the Makita 2012 is equipped with an overheat sensor that shuts down power when you need a cooling break.
The Makita 2012NB planer mill
The Makita 2012NB panel mill replaces an earlier outdated model, the Makita 2012.
The main differences between the Makita-2012NB and the Makita-2012:
- Engine power. 1.65 kW instead of 1.33 kW
- Rotating speed of the blade shaft. 8500 instead of 8000 rpm
- Maximum possible planing depth. 3,0 mm instead of 2,5 mm
In addition, the Makita 2012NB has a more rigid power frame design and double insulation of electrical circuits.
With its high performance, the machine weighs 27 kg and remains mobile: you can take it to a construction site or move it around the workshop by yourself. Can be placed on the floor (open stand supplied as standard) or on a workbench. When operating the machine, please note that precise and fault-free operation is only possible with good chip removal, e.g., with extraction systems.
Metal, asbestos cement, stone and similar materials, soft plastics, and rubber-like materials are not permitted on these machines.
In terms of quality of planing the machine is not inferior to stationary models of the entry level, on the contrary, the high speed of the knife shaft makes it preferable in some cases. There are all standard systems typical for stationary analogues: automatic feed mechanism, infeed and outfeed tables with rollers (for convenience of transportation and storage they are folded), rollers on top of the case for workpiece return. A single rotary knob adjusts the height of the blade shaft, depending on the size of the workpiece.
The accumulated experience of using a Makita-2012 has shown that the machine is very durable and reliable if only a few simple rules are followed. Only need to avoid operation without connection to vacuum cleaner and timely clean all mechanisms from shavings.
The machine runs on a single-phase 220 V AC 50 Hz.
Description of the construction of the thicknessing machine
The Makita 2012 NB rotary cutter is a tool for professional use that removes the top layer of wood workpieces. Has an excellent productivity, which makes it possible to use it in a full working day. The Makita planer is also safer than a conventional planer of the same blade width.
Two 304 mm wide knives are used in processing. They are mounted on both sides of the drum, which has a rotation speed of 8500 rpm. Such a height is necessary for high-quality work with wood.
The top of the Makita 2012 NB has a handle, it adjusts the height of the main bed, in the center of the thicknesser is the drum and knives. One revolution raises or lowers the base by 2 mm. Height can be adjusted between 0. 160 mm. Maximum thickness of materials that can be cut in one pass is 3 mm.
Depth gauge in the front of the frame gives the operator the possibility to see the current height of the knives. When a workpiece passes inside the machine, the depth of cut you get at the output will be shown.
Chips are ejected backwards during planing on the Makita 2012 NB model. To keep your workspace clean, you can place a spigot (included) on the center of the bed, which is triggered by pressing a button on the bed. There is also a power button and an indicator lamp that informs you that the equipment is energized.

I have been using this machine for four years. I’ll start with the cons.1)Disposable knives for those who choose to handle hard varieties. the problem is. Cannot be sharpened because they are narrow, there is nothing to hook on. They can only be refilled, t. е. “sharpen” on one side. They cost a pretty penny. For me, the cost of consumables is critical. You can look for a set of interchangeable knives. I heard there are. However, for scaffolding (pine, spruce, larch), this is rather a plus. See. п.3 “Pros of”.
2)The step at the beginning and end of the workpiece is inherent in all semi-professional machines. After 2 years of use, eliminating the step turned into a tambourine dance. Chain tensioner spring popped off; feed (tilting) tables “gone” from the settings; one (!?) of the 4 compensating springs of the infeed rollers had sagged by 6 mm. 3) The chain tensioner is ridiculous. I just saw it and marveled?! 2mm wire. slides directly on the links. Seen it on the “Mastermind” amplifier, sawed by hand, but there is no desire.4) The table is made from household “stainless steel” 0.7 mm thick. I am sorry, I have not noticed. dragged the workpieces with nails, which broke off inside the array, through the thicknesser a couple of times. Bore on the table (to 1,5 mm) grinded with a disk grinder, polished with paste for lapping valves, blow-dried a high-temperature paraffin on the table. It is better than it was. but the time is lost.
Pros.1)Polyurethane feed rollers. The workpieces don’t stain like rubber. Over the years I can count on the fingers of one hand the instances when the thicknesser refused to pull the workpiece. Passed completely raw bar (it cried). Pulls!2)Steel on knives. Believe it or not, the blunt knives planed almost as cleanly as new. I understood it only by the vibration of the shaft and the characteristic sound. Bought new ones a year ago. same pattern. Excellent quality steel!3) Easy maintenance. There are only two screws to “guts” Right and left. Handy carrying handles. Replacement of disposable knives is a pleasure! For those in the know. to expose the knives parallel to each other, and even to the table. on the shafts with “floating” (sharpened) knives. This is a challenge for the faint of heart.4)The layout of the machine units and materials. aerobatics! The belt after 3 years was like new with no dust or scuffing. Chain still had original grease. The wear on the polyurethane rollers is even, both longitudinally and relative to each other (!?). The wear of slide bearings of the feed rollers is identical and, in my opinion, was not more than 0,05 mm.
The first impression of the machine for 3 years has not changed. “What a technique!” I would recommend to those who work with construction wood. For hardwood, the Makita 2012NB is too costly.

I am using this machine for the 4th year. I will start with the cons.1)Disposable knives for those who want to work hardwood. The problem. The input (first) shaft has a long stroke (hence the large springs) for receiving the roughing workpiece, the second shaft pulls the workpiece after the knives (planed) because its stroke is shorter. In ten years of not frequent use, I’ve prevented such a planer a couple of times. Last time it took a long time to assemble, until the shafts stood up, the reason for the stoppage. Second shaft sprocket bolt came loose, causing it to come off. After cleaning and lubricating everything, I noticed a slight side loss of the second shaft (it goes left and right by a couple of millimeters). and the first one has a slight up and down wobble. Apparently this was caused by the nature of the direction of the load. Also, for some reason the second shaft is tighter than the first. Swapped the shafts in place, and landing in a new socket, shafts rotate with the new resistance ie. е. The light one became tight and vice versa. Could be hull deformation? And one (in the rotation of the sprocket) is a little crooked. Your sprockets seem to be wobbling too?
